Cenizo is a one-person software label run by Scott Stavinoha out of Texas. It releases small, calm tools that try to stay out of your way: no telemetry, no advertising, no accounts you didn’t ask for.
The name is borrowed from the cenizo shrub — Texas sage — whose silver-green leaves break into purple flowers after rain. It is a plant that does most of its work quietly and only colors when the conditions are right. That is roughly the kind of software this label aims to make.
